| Bulldog Soccer Camp at Samford University 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Samford University Campus - Soccer Field
Bulldog Soccer Camp at Samford University is designed to develop young players’ technical skills through a series of fun yet challenging activities. A low staff-to-camper ratio ensures the staff’s ability to enhance the learning experience with detailed technical training, individualized coaching and game scenarios.
Samford soccer has earned three trips to the NCAA Tournament and made school history in 2005 as the Bulldogs defeated No. 17-ranked Vanderbilt in the opening round of the prestigious 64-team tournament. In 2007, Samford again made history as it received the school’s first at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Bulldogs also qualified for the 2011 NCAA Tournament by winning the Southern Conference regular-season title and SoCon Tournament.
This year’s camp staff will consist of college coaches as well as a number of Samford players. The staff looks forward to working with players who want to train and become better soccer players.
The goal at Bulldog Soccer Camp is for players to leave camp with a better understanding of the game and with an improved skill level to strengthen future performances.
Parents, friends and coaches are encouraged to observe the camp experience, and the staff will be happy to answer any questions after the sessions. |
